Biography

Md. Mahamudun Noby Rupok is a dedicated legal educator with an LL.B. and LL.M. from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), specializing in Constitutional Law, International Law, AI and Cyber Law and Human Rights. He began his professional journey as a legal intern at Fahad Mahmood Khan and Associates in Dhaka (January 2022–January 2024), gaining practical experience in litigation and legal consultancy. In February 2024, he joined the Department of Law and Justice at North East University Bangladesh as a Lecturer, where he has now served as Acting Head of the Department since February 2025. He also mentors students as Advisor of the NEUB Law and Moot Court Club (NEUBLMCC). His academic and research interests focus on the intersection of law, technology, and policy, with particular emphasis on Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and digital governance. Committed to advancing legal scholarship, he strives to inspire critically-minded future professionals and contribute to progressive legal reforms in Bangladesh and beyond.
