Our Founding
BD Opinion Juris was founded in January 2025 by Tareq Abedin Siraji, with the vision of creating a platform where law goes beyond academic boundaries and serves as a true instrument of justice. From its very beginning, BD Opinion Juris has been dedicated to legal awareness, research, and advocacy, focusing on the issues that matter most to society—human rights, access to justice, environmental protection, and equality for marginalized groups.

About Tareq Abedin Siraji
Tareq Abedin Siraji is the Founder of BD Opinion Juris and a young legal scholar dedicated to advancing justice, equality, and legal awareness in Bangladesh and beyond.
Tareq completed his LL.B. (Hons.) from the World University of Bangladesh, graduating with distinction and earning a CGPA of 3.77. His academic excellence and commitment to legal studies earned him recognition as one of the promising emerging voices in the field.
Currently, he is pursuing his UMSAILS LL.M. (University of Asia Pacific, Bangladesh) under the prestigious South Asia Foundation (SAF) Scholarship—a highly competitive and respected scholarship program awarded to outstanding scholars across the South Asian region. This achievement reflects both his academic merit and his broader vision of contributing to regional legal and human rights development.
Beyond academics, Tareq has been actively involved in legal research, advocacy, and professional practice. His experience as an Apprentice Lawyer and Legal Research Intern has provided him with valuable practical insights, which he combines with his passion for scholarly analysis.
Through BD Opinion Juris, founded in January 2025, Tareq envisions a platform where law is not confined to theory but becomes a living tool for justice, empowerment, and social change. His leadership focuses on bridging academia and practice, empowering students and young professionals, and amplifying marginalized voices in legal discourse.
